Lillie Deese was the daughter of Maranzie Deese.

The following was taken from the Oct. 30, 1956 edition of THE ROBESONIAN:

Mrs. Lillie Deese, 62, died last night at her home on Rowland, Rt. 1 of a heart attack. The funeral will be held Thursday at 3:30 p.m. ar Harpers Ferry Baptist church with Rev. L. W. Jacobs and Rev. Chesley Hammonds in charge. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Surviving are one brother, Henry Deese and one sister, Mrs. Horace Jacobs, both of Rowland, Rt. 1.
