Lillie Mavis Reynolds, 84, Long Beach, CA, died Monday, March 15, 2004 at the Long Beach Community Hospital in Long Beach.

Memorial services will be Tuesday, April 6 at 11:00 a.m. at Our Saviour's Lutheran Church in Pipestone.

Interment will be at Ihlen Cemetery, Ihlen.

Lillie Mavis Reynolds was born to Thore and Gurina (Lura) Stangeland on May 25, 1919 in Pipestone where she was raised. In 1919, she was baptized and in 1933, she was confirmed in the Lutheran Faith. She attended school in Pipestone graduating from Pipestone High School in 1936.

After her graduation, she attended Nettleton Business College in Sioux Falls, SD. On January 3, 1943, she was united in marriage to Richard Tucker in Sioux Falls, SD. Following their marriage, they resided in Los Angeles, Calif. where she worked as a secretary. Then in 1947, she moved to Tucson, Ariz. In 1954, she moved to Eureka Calif. where she worked as a legal secretary.

On December 21, 1956 she was united in marriage to Maurice "Ray" Reyolds in Bellflower, Calif. Following their marriage, they lived in several towns in Southern California. In April 1986, they moved to Pipestone. Ray preceded her in death on February 3, 2004. Following his death, she went to spent time with her daughter in Long Beach, Calif. On Sunday, March 14, 2004, she was admitted to the Long Beach Community Hospital.

She was a member of the Sons of Norway. She enjoyed studying genealogy, making crafts, readings and traveling.

She is survived by her two daughters, Patricia (Ralph Paul) Koons of Long Beach, Calif. and Roberta (Donald) Jones of Newcomerstown, Ohio; three grandchildren; one sister Geneva (Wally) Ring of Fountain Inn, SC; one brother Silas (Dorothy) Stangeland of Pipestone.

She was preceded in death by her husband Maurice R. Reynolds; and one sister Irene (Mrs. Carl) Hass.
