Lina Bauer was married to Johanna Weinberg (Oma) youngest brother, Edward. My father, Alfred Weinberg had worked for his Uncle Edward in some kind of wholesale shoe business. When my Dad wanted to emigrate to the USA in 1926, it was one of Lina's brothers who gave him an affidavit.
I remember my father telling me that that brother had committed suicide when Daddy was on board ship. There was another brother, who lived in a Chicago suburb who I remember visiting. All I remember from that visit was sitting on a screened porch.
