Lloyd Donald Bjorkman

Lloyd Donald Bjorkman, 71, died on November 12, 2007 at the Bay Area Medical Center. He was born February 17, 1936, to Oscar and Millie (Johnson) Bjorkman of Niagara, Wisconsin. He was raised on a farm with loving siblings. Lloyd served his county in the United States Army and was stationed in Germany. He married Emma Keller on June 10, 1961. He frequently called her his “girlfriend of 50 years”. His family is at peace knowing he is reunited with his beloved wife. Lloyd worked most of his life as a journeyman sheet metal worker who took pride in his trade. If you could draw it on paper, he could bend it. He also loved teaching his trade. Lloyd lived his faith and was a member of Peace United Church of Christ. Lloyd was a very proud of his three children and their spouses. He appreciated spending time with his grandchildren, watching them grow. Lloyd always had a kind word for everyone he met and will be remembered for his big smile, warm heart and amazing hugs. He loved family get-togethers and will also be remembered by numerous nieces and nephews as their dear Uncle Lloydie. He was devoted to his family and enjoyed hunting, fishing, the Packers and going to the Elks. Lloyd is survived by his three children and seven grandchildren: Doug (Linda) Bjorkman of Marinette, their daughter, Rachel and son, Nathan: Donna (Rick) Chaltry of Fond du Lac, and their daughters: Emily and Jennifer, and son, Thomas: Nancy (David) Kunesh of DeForest and their daughters: Rebecca and Alexandra. He is also survived by his sister, Mildred and brothers: Gordon, John, Jim and Dick and by Emma’s sisters, Marie, Millie and Ruth. Lloyd was preceded in death by his wife, Emma: and her parents, Marie and Charles Keller; his parents, Oscar and Millie Bjorkman; his sister, Alice and brothers; Irving and Marvin.
