Lois Lusk
ABERDEEN - Lois Blanche Carlley Lusk, 91, died Aug. 4, 2003, at Pioneer Hospital in Aberdeen. Services are Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. in the Tisdale-Lann Memorial Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Odd Fellows Rest Cemetery. Mrs. Lusk was born Oct. 25, 1911, in Hazen, Ark., to Charles Elmore and Mabel Crowly Carlley. She graduated from Brinkley High School in Brinkley, Ark., and was a graduate of University of Tennessee School of Nursing. She was a member of the First Christian Church of Aberdeen. She retired as a nurse for Dr. John N. Turnage at the Medical Arts Clinic in Aberdeen. She was also a homemaker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John M. Lusk; one sister; three brothers; and two grandchildren. Survivors include her daughters, Lois Stockton of Aberdeen and Betty Howard of Jacksonville, Fla.; sons, John Marshall Lusk Jr. of Jackson and Jimmy Lee Lusk of Aberdeen; sister, Clydruth Riggan of Corning, Ark.; nine grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
