Funeral services for Mrs. Lois Inez King Purvis, 89, of Delhi will be held at 3:00PM, Wednesday, September 5, 2007 at the Dunn Baptist Church with Rev. Bernard Duchesne Jr. officiating.Burial will be in the Faith Memorial Park Cemetery in Delhi under the direction of Cox Funeral Home.Mrs. Purvis was a native of Strong, AR, a member of the Dunn Baptist Church, and was preceded in death by her husband, Walter E. Purvis, parents, Thomas Gordon King & Rosie Paralee Russell King, brothers, Charles and Melton King and sisters, Letha Minchew, Ruth Glass, Vera Muse and Ernestine Kelley.She is survived by two sons, Ervin Purvis & wife Joyce of El Dorado, AR and Eugene Purvis of Canton, TX; one daughter, Evelyn O'Neal & favorite son-in-law Joe Mack O'Neal of Delhi;one sister, Lettie Killian of West Monroe, LA; ten grandchildren, Tinker, Brian & Greg Purvis, Sissy Bogner, Rhonda Marsh, Ginger Strahan, Tommy Purvis, Lori Kirby, Karen Singley & Paula Laird; sixteen grandchildren and one great great grandchild.Pallbearers will be Ricky Singley, Bill O'Neal, Charles Taylor, Calvin Allen, James Allen and Thomas Callaway.Any planned memorials may be made to the Dunn Baptist Church.The family wishes to express a special thanks to the following for the professional and loving long term care provided to their loved one:Dr. Le and the ER staff of the Delhi Hosptial & ClinicThe doctors and staff of Renal Associates in MonroeThe dedicated CNA's and nurses of Richland Manor Nursing Home and staff of the Delhi Dialysis UnitHospice Care of Louisiana, Inc. - Karen Klemm Pinckard
