Lonnie Gene Abbott, 63, of Cisco died Monday, August 8, 2005 at Canterbury Villa Nursing Home.

Services were held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, August 10, 2005 at Kimbrough Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Harry Garvin officiated. Burial was in the Oakwood Cemetery directed by Kimbrough Funeral Home.

Lonnie was born in Cisco, Texas on February 5, 1942 to Guy and Viola Abbott. He worked for Southwestern Bell Telephone for 35 years in Breckenridge and Cisco. He married Joy Abbott on July 3, 1976 in San Antonio. He was a member of First Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents and a son, Jason Samuel Abbott.

Survivors include his wife, Joy Abbott; two daughters, Cyndi Ann Abbott of Breckenridge and Amy Lajoie Housh of Cisco; two sons, Jeffrey and Davin Hohhertz of Cisco; six grandchildren, Lacey Medina and Casey Abbott of Breckenridge, Skylynn and Layton Housh of Cisco, and Dylan and Colten Hohhertz of Weatherford; two great-grandchildren, Alexa and Aryan Medina of Breckenridge.
