Don Sancho Ramírez was thus the first Patron of the Currency. He extended his surname, giving rise to Ramírez de la Piscina. Three were his sons: the eldest, Don Ramiro, inherited the Lordship or County of Peñacerrada; the second, Don Sancho, obtained the Lordship of Arellano, originating the Ramírez de Arellano; and the third, Don Martín, inherited the Señorío del Campo de Puelles, root of the Ramírez de Puelles. These offspring of Don Sancho Ramírez de la Piscina, in addition to the Royal House of Navarre, were the origin of the lineages of the genealogical trunk of the Divisa de la Piscina.
