Lottie Giles Gurr passed away peacefully September 30, 1999

She was born May 22, 1914, in Heber, Utah, to Orson Edwin and Gladys Ethel Tadd Giles. She married Wallace R. Gurr on February 11, 1933, in Price, Utah.

She lived most of her life in Springville. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She always put others ahead of herself. The grandkids always knew grandma would have a treat for them when they visited.

She is survived by two sons and three daughters: Wayne (Maurine) Gurr of Santaquin, Randy (Pauline) Gurr of Genola, Elaine (Bob) Tasker of Santaquin, LaNyle (Jerry) Thomas of Springville, Terry (Stephen) Marshall of Mapleton: 30 grandchildren, 87 great-grandchildren, and seven great-great-grandchildren. Two sisters: LaWanna Gurr and Audrey Riches both of Springville. She was preceded in death by her husband; Wallace Gurr, one daughter; Afton (Conrad) Maag, two brothers and three sisters; Tadd Giles, Milton Giles, Zella Rowley, Olive Noakes, and Ila Naylor.

Funeral services will be held Monday, October 4, 1999, at 11 a.m. at Wheeler Mortuary, 211 E. 200 South, Springville. Friends may call at the Mortuary one hour prior to the services.

Burial will be in the Springville Evergreen Cemetery.
