by the architects Lachmann & magic comes the design and the execution of the squat acting family mausoleum with a grotto-like vault. The interior is full of atmosphere by the blue skylights. The construction is made of Randersacker limestone, it is 7.60 meters long and 3.40 meters deep. Were buried in the mausoleum of the lawyer Leopold Katz (1860 Marienburg - 1901 Berlin), the architect Louis Lachmann (1860 Thorn - 1910 Berlin) and his wife Caroline Lachmann (1864 Prague - 1937 Berlin). The architect Louis Lachmann also the building of the former department store Jandorf Fountain / Veteranenstraße designed on the corner.

Louis was one of ten brothers and sisters whose family can be traced only to his grandfather, a wood merchant from Torun, Poland (the birthplace of Copernicus).
Louis Lachmann was an architect of considerable reputation in Berlin, designing one of the city's opera houses. The architect Louis Lachmann also designed the building of the former department store at the corner of Fountain Jandorf / street design veterans. He also build the synagogue in Lützowstraße Berlin (Architekten Wilhelm Cremer und Richard Wolffenstein).
He was also a violinist.
He died when Vera Lachmann was only 4-years old.
Isaac Lachmann, Louis' father, had ten children with his wife Mathilde Goldschmidt, and his family can be traced only to his father, Abraham Lachmann, a wood merchant from Torun, Poland (the birthplace of Copernicus).
Among Isaac and Mathilde's ten children are Louis (father of Erich, Nina Frankfurther, and Vera), Henriette Maass (mother of Rosemarie Bodenheimer, Alfred, and Oskar) and Minna Sachs (mother of Käthe, Eva, and Hans).
