About Louis Salomon
Inauguration of the memorial plaque for the Jewish family Salomon
On 18 May 2014, the commemorative plaque on the house width road was opened 33/34 for Spandau Jewish family Salomon. In addition there was an impressive event with relatives who traveled from Israel. Louis Salomon was a successful entrepreneur and the last of the Jewish community of Spandau. He built the house on Broad Street 33/34, leaving the house during the Nazi persecution numerous family members in his house and kept them so before a placement in one of the Jewish houses. Many of his family members were murdered in Auschwitz. Louis Salomon and his wife survived Nazism and emigrated to Israel.
