Louis Swerdling

From Louis' daughter Robin, "My father Lou was born in 1917 in Brooklyn, NY to immigrant parents (Russia/Poland). He was a lieutenant in the Navy during the war, serving on a mine sweeper that swept mines ahead of the Yalta conference. He graduated from Franklin Lane High School and then got a college degree from Brooklyn College, which he attended at night while working during the day. I think he was the first person in his family to earn a college degree. As far as I know, he always worked as a sales representative."
