Louisa Smith

The second child of seven and first daughter of John Hefling Sr. and Louisinah Stone, her parents moved to Belmont Co.Ohio where her father was a tax collector and farmer. They moved near Deersville,Harrison Co.Ohio.1810. where Louisa was married on March 26,1818 to Joseph D. Smith. In their early married life, they lived at Tippecanoe, Harrison Co.Ohio and then moved to Barnesville where they lived out their days.
