Louise Dixon Deal, 83, of Bristol, Ga. died Wednesday, October 26, 2011 in the Bacon County Hospital after an extended illness. The Appling County, Ga. native was a member of Ritch Baptist Church and worked for many years as a licensed practical nurse in hospitals and home health companies. She was predeceased by her husband, Rev. James "Doyle" Deal.

Survivors are 2 daughters and sons-in-law, Sandra and Dwight Sellers of Alma, Ga., Sarita and Bill Pope of Macon, Ga.; 4 sons and daughters-in-law, Adrian and Judy Deal of Screven, Ga., Anthony and Margaret Deal , Johnny and Cynthia Deal, all of Douglas, Ga., Eric Deal of Bristol, Ga.; 4 sisters, Maudina Carter of Waycross, Ga., Naomi Creek of Augusta, Ga., Nadine Griffis of Augusta, Ga., Vonda Golden of Blackshear, Ga.; 2 brothers, Warren Dixon and Larry Dixon, both of Augusta, Ga.; several grandchildren and great grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 11 A.M. Saturday, October 29, 2011 at Rinehart and Sons Chapel with Rev. Carl Ledbetter and Rev. Darren Deal officiating. Interment will be in the Lake Chapel Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be her family.

Visitation will be 10 to 11 A.M. prior to services from the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to the Samaritan's Purse, P.O. Box 3000, Boone, NC 28607.
