Mrs. Louise Toombs Pappas, 80, of 301 Hanover St. died Thursday at Eldercare Gardens in Charlottesville.
She had been a member of the Salvation Army Home League Ladies and was the widow of George Pappas.
Mrs. Pappas is survived by a son, Maj. James E. Pappas of Clarksburg, W. Va.; three brothers, Wilson Toombs of Fredericksburg and Clyde M. Toombs of Dade City, Fla.; a sister, Mrs. Helen Stevens of Fredericksburg; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Monday at Wheeler and Thompson Funeral Home, with Lt. Cape Grice of The Salvation Army officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery.* Reference: Find A Grave Memorial - SmartCopy: Jul 7 2022, 21:28:46 UTC
