Louise Marie Walters

Louise Walters, age 79, of Imlay City, Michigan died Thursday, October 24, 2019 at Lapeer County Medical Care Facility of Lapeer, MI.

Louise Marie Wasinger was born March 23, 1940 in Hays, Kansas. She was the daughter of the late Alfred Wasinger and the late Catherine (Nussbaum) Wasinger.

She married Marvin Walters. Louise was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin in 2000.

She was a homemaker, raising her family. Louise enjoyed: playing bingo, furniture upholstery, antiquing, and recovering seats for horse drawn sleighs.

She is survived by three daughters: Diane (Robert) Keys of Imlay City, MI, Denise Bish of Pennsylvania, and Debbie Abbey of Lapeer, MI; one sister: Sharon Wasinger; two brothers: Tom Wasinger and Al Wasinger; six grandchildren: David, Brittany, Cory, Hope, Robert, and Ashley; and seven great-grandchildren.

Louise was preceded in death by: her parents: Alfred & Catherine Wasinger; and her brothers: Gene Wasinger and Roger Wasinger.

Cremation has taken place. The family has not planned a memorial. Arrangements were made by Muir Brothers Funeral Home, 225 N. Main Street, Imlay City, MI.
