1732 moved to Maine (Mass) and settled on 800 acres in compliance with their petition of 18 years latter.
1751 The petition granted them 800 acres out of the original tract of 8000 acres at Sheepscot
1761 ALEXANDER's will mentions Real Estate,a Sawmill and interest in vessels at sea. It also mentioned his meadow at the Head of Kenedy's Marsh. Each daughter received 40 lbs except ELIZABETH who received 53 lbs.
His son Alexander Jr. was active in the military having served Lieutenant under the command of Capt. David Cargill 1747/48. In 1751 he entered the service from 5 August to 12 September as a scout from Sheepscott,to Witchassett,Walpole etc.
During 1755/56 was a Capt. and guarded the stores at Ft. Halifax. In 1758 entered again as a Lieutenant and served from 14 August 1758 to 9 July 1759 at Ft. Pemaquid. Was a Sargent until 30 September 1759.
