Funeral on Friday at 2 o'clock p.m. Trains leaves 30th st. station of Hudson River Railroad at 10 o'clock for 152d. st. station. It is respectfully requested that no flowers be sent.

Stockwell, ex-Paymaster United States Navy, who was to be buried today from his late residence in this city, entered the Navy in November 1861, as assistant-Paymaster. He served with Credit throughout the war and at its close his resignation was accepted in November 1865. He was made paymaster with the rank of Lieutenant Commander. Since the war he has been connected with the Howe Sewing Machine Company as Treasurer. A committee from the Military Order of the Loyal Legion of which he was a member will attend his funeral.
