Son of Jonathan Hathaway & Susannah Pope.

On 24 Nov 1743 when Seth was 32, he married Hannah Willis, daughter of Samuel Willis (ca 1688-3 Oct 1763) & Mehitable Gifford (7 Jul 1689-18 Jan 1782), in Dartmouth, MA. Born on 20 Jan 1715/6 in Dartmouth, MA. Hannah died in Dartmouth, MA, on 18 Jan 1760; she was 43. Buried in Acushnet Cemetery.
