Stephen Post, Cambridge, 1634; removed, 1636, to Hartford, where he was an original proprietor; his home-lot in the distribution of 1639 was on the south side of "the road from George Steel's to the South Meadow;" he sold this lot to Thomas Gridley, about 1649, and removed to Saybrook; he was constable, 1642; died in Saybrook, August 16, 1659 inventory £442. 3. 6.
