CINCINNATI, Jan. 14 [1964] —Lu­cien Wulsin, chairman of the board and former president of the Baldwin Piano Company, died here yesterday at the age of 74.

Mr. Wulsin formerly headed the board of directors of the Cincinnati Symphony Orches­tra. He had also been secre­tary of the Cincinnati Institute of Fine Arts and president of the Ohio Historical and Phil­osophical Society (now the Cin­cinnati Historical Society).

He graduated in 1910 from Harvard and received his mas­ter's degree in electrical engi­neering from Harvard the next year.

After the death of his father, Lucien Wuilsin Sr., in 1912, he joined the Baldwin Piano Com­pany. His father had helped the late Dwight H. Baldwin found the company in 1862.

Mr. Wulsin is survived by his widow, the former Miss Margaret M. Hager; four sons, Lucien Wulsin Jr., now presi­dent of the Baldwin Piano Com­pany; Dr. John H. Wulsin of Cincinnati; Eugene of Toronto and Thomas of Geneva, Switzer­land; three daughters, Mrs. Winslow W. Bennett of Phila­delphia and Mrs. Robert J. Ami­don and Mrs. William Kite, both of Cincinnati, and 22 grandchil­dren.
