CINCINNATI, Jan. 14 [1964] —Lucien Wulsin, chairman of the board and former president of the Baldwin Piano Company, died here yesterday at the age of 74.
Mr. Wulsin formerly headed the board of directors of the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra. He had also been secretary of the Cincinnati Institute of Fine Arts and president of the Ohio Historical and Philosophical Society (now the Cincinnati Historical Society).
He graduated in 1910 from Harvard and received his master's degree in electrical engineering from Harvard the next year.
After the death of his father, Lucien Wuilsin Sr., in 1912, he joined the Baldwin Piano Company. His father had helped the late Dwight H. Baldwin found the company in 1862.
Mr. Wulsin is survived by his widow, the former Miss Margaret M. Hager; four sons, Lucien Wulsin Jr., now president of the Baldwin Piano Company; Dr. John H. Wulsin of Cincinnati; Eugene of Toronto and Thomas of Geneva, Switzerland; three daughters, Mrs. Winslow W. Bennett of Philadelphia and Mrs. Robert J. Amidon and Mrs. William Kite, both of Cincinnati, and 22 grandchildren.
