Lopez, Lucille Marie Standish, Michigan Lucille passed away suddenly on March 6, 2007. Our hearts and spirits are saddened as God takes you on your journey home. Age 87 years, born November 9, 1919 to the late Avery and Nellie (Spinski) Polin. She married Toney C. Lopez on March 25, 1968. He preceded her in 1994. She was a member of the Resurrection of the Lord Catholic Church. Lucille retired from G.M. in 1985 and loved doing her crafts. A loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother "old grandma". She is survived by a son, Ray and wife Sue Erskine Jr. of Tennessee; three daughters, Mary Ellen Miller of Standish, Cathleen Rose of St. Charles and Marcia Parsons of Birch Run; one brother, Rocco LaPalan of Royal Oak; 12 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded by her husband, Toney, two sons, Edwin and Lawrence Horton, six sisters, one brother, three grandchildren and two sons-in-law. We will miss you Mom. Visitation will be on Friday, March 9, 2007 from 10:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. at the R.O. Savage Funeral Chapel in Standish. Funeral services will be on Saturday, March 10, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. from the funeral chapel. Lucille will lie in state from 10:00 a.m. on Saturday until the time of service.
