Lucius Warren Guernsey

Beloved grandfather of Hazel Lydecker Morrissey. She recalled he gave her $.05 for every bible verse she and her sister could recite. She said he loved ingenuity and inventions. Married Dec. 22, 1886 to Martha Lincoln Brown from Elmira, NY. She was a college graduate from Elmira College in the town by that name. She died of tuberculosis. He was the Comptroller of the Hudson-Water Power Co. in Glens Falls, NY. Later, he was the comptroller/secretary for the Underwood Typewriter Co. NYC.
