About Lucy Tucker Mackay
Lucy Tucker Mackay was a talented watercolourist who sketched flora and fauna hundreds of views of Wiltshire (England) as well as Europe. In addition, she was a talented photographer who recorded what struck her fancy in India, during visits to her son Edward. Edward Mackay was stationed in India, serving with the British Army. (Her sketchbooks and photographs are at the Wiltshire & Swindon History Centre.)
Her husband Alexander thought highly enough of Lucy to leave her his entire estate.
