1922 copy of grandson Bruno SCHLESINGER's 1911 Neunkirchen birth certificate, kindly shared by descendant, which provides names of parents & grandparents etc.

In which it is related that the WOLF family came from a little village in Hungary - where the geese wore no shoes! - and that Ignaz had held the role of "Schächter" - ritual slaughterer - there.
That 9 children were born to this couple, four of whom died in early childhood.
The eldest son Wilhelm was sent to study in Vienna and the family followed him there afterwards.,
The parental home was Rembrandtstrasse 24. This address is given at both Ignaz & Charlotte's death. It remained the home of bachelor Wilhelm until after the Anschluss.
Apparently Lajos and his wife survived the Holocaust and settled in Paris after the war but had suffered greatly ...
