Lue Amelia Burnham, 78, of Pleasant Grove, Utah, died in an American Fork hospital Monday at 3 a.m. after a lingering illness. Born January 13, 1883, in Centerville, Davis County, to George Asael Palmer and Lucity Stolworthy Palmer. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Married John W. Burnham, in Kitland, New Mexico, later solemnized in the Salt Lake City Temple. They later were separated. Survivors include sons and daughters, Mrs. H. L. (Matilda) McGee, Orem; L. Acel Burnham, Salt Lake; Joseph W., El Paso, Texas; Mrs. John (Phyllis) Davis, Live Oaks, California; Mrs. Kenneth (Amelia) Van Wagoner, Springfield, Oregon; Mrs. Phoebe Jones, Plesant Grove; 15 grandchildren; 29 great grandchildren; sisters, brother, Mrs. Ulysses (Matilda) McGee, Mesa, Arizona; Mrs. Cora Strausberg, Layton, Arizona; Mrs. Claud (Salley) Decker, and Mrs. Hugh (Ivy) Sterling, La Plata, Colorado; Alma James Palmer, Red Mesa, Colorado. Funeral Friday, 11 a.m. at Second-Fourth LDS Ward Chapel. Burial will be in the Pleasant Grove City Cemetery, Pleasant Grove, Utah.
