About Luigi Manfrini
He began his stage activity in 1910 in Italy. In 1914 he guested at the Teatro Colón in Buenos Aires where he took over, nevertheless, only smaller roles. He sang on 4. 8. 1914 at the Teatro Colón in Buenos Aires in the premiere of the opera ‘’Il sogno di alma’’ of Carlos Lopez Buchardo, likewise in 1914 as Titurel in the première of the ‘’Parsifal’’. In 1920 he appeared at the Politeama Genovese in Genoa in ‘’Il Barbiere di Siviglia’’. In 1920 he guested at the festival in the arena of Verona as Ramphis in ‘’Aida’’. At Covent Garden in London he sang in 1926 (as Ramfis in ‘’Aida’’) and in 1930. Occasionally he appeared in the big opera stages in Italy. In 1930 he fallen ill hard and had to give up his career.
