Lukas Cornelis Koekemoer (1956 - 2006)
Brief overview:
Lukas (50), and Jan Hendrik De Almeida Duvenhage (19), were shot dead in May 2006 during a robbery in a restaurant.
Former police colonel Paul Fourie, who became a private detective, filed a complaint of legal defeat, perjury, and failure to fulfill police duties against the investigating officer as he believed him to be lax. He was approached by Jan's father to investigate as the police were not progressing. "Until now then there wasn't even an identity parade," he said.
