About Luke "Jack" Haley
Haley, Luke (Chief Petty Officer Ret. USN)- age 72 of Lenoir City,TN, formerly of Tucson, AR and Bessmer, AL, passed away Sunday, April 14, 2002 at his home. He was of the Baptist faith. Luke was retired from the United States Navy serving as Chief Petty Officer during the Korean and Vietnam Wars. He was preceded in death by his parents, Tom and Clara Haley; brothers, Clarence and Clyde Haley. Luke is survived by his wife, Patricia M. Haley; daughters, Teresa Barno of Alaska and Loretta Shepherd of Alabama; son, Kenneth Haley of Mississippi; six grandchildren and three great grandsons; brother, Max Haleyand wife, Lois of Texas; sister, Clara Pitts and husband, Jake of Alabama; several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at Click Funeral Home in Lenoir City. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Thursday in the Click Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. officiating. Burial will follow in the Lakeview Cemetery with full military honors being conferred. Click Funeral Home in Lenoir City is serving the family of Luke Haley.
