Life Story of Lula Butin- Mrs. Robert (Lula) Butin, 82, or rural Reasnor, a lifelong resident of Jasper County, died Wednesday afternoon, Sep. 6, at the Prairie View Nursing Home in Prairie City.
Funeral services were held Friday at the Loehr Funeral Chapel in Newton.
The Rev. Don Gatrelle, pastor of the United Methodist Church in Reasnor, conducted the services. Burial was in Hewitt Cemetery, near Reasnor.
Survivors are three daughters, Mrs. Clyde (Lois) Jarnagin of Prairie City, Mrs. Jane Northcutt of Monroe and Mrs. Rex (Lona) Sharp of rockville, Md.: 11 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two sons, two sisters and five brothers.
Mrs. Butin was a member of the United Methodist Church of Reasnor.
The daughter of Benjamin and Louisa Hammer Trout, she was born august 2, 1890, near Reasnor.
She was married January 17, 1912, in Des Moines.
