Final Rites Held For Mrs. Keifer Here On Wednesday
Mrs. Lulu M. Keiffer, 78, 1409 N. Jackson, died July 15 at Good Samaritan Hospital, Vincennes.
Surviving are her husband, Lawrence R. Keiffer; a son, Raymond Keiffer, of Ballston Lake, N.Y.; two daughters, Mrs. James (Jeanette) Dye, Albany, Ore., and Mrs. Allen (Frances) Agnew, Pullman, Washington; 11 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Also surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Herman (Goldie) Nook, Cleveland, Ohio, and Mrs. Ed (Gladys) Daniels, Detroit, Mich.
Mrs. Keiffer and her husband were active in community affairs and particularly so in support of the First United Methodist Church of Robinson. She had numerous friends throughout the community who were saddened to learn of her death.
Funeral services were conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the chapel of the Buchanan Funeral Home with Dr. Dale Harmon and Rev. L. B. Walkington officiating. Interment followed in the new Robinson cemetery.
