Lydia “Liddie,” daughter of Alexander Balcom, Sr. (1633 - 05/04/1711) who emigrated from Glynde, of the civil parish in the Lewes District of East Sussex, England to Providence, RI & his 2nd wife, Jane HOLBROOK Albee Balcom (1652-1696) who married on 1676; she was the widow of John Albee who was killed by Indians at Mendon, Worcester Co., Ma., on July 14, 1675 in King Philip's War.
