Lydia Libby was married in Scarborough, 28 December 1729, to her first cousin, Capt. Joseph Berry, Jr., son of Mary (Libby) Berry. In 1731, Capt. John Libby and his two sons-in-law, Samuel Brown and Joseph Berry took a joint lease of 50 acres of marsh in Scarborough. Joseph and Lydia later moved to West Bath, Maine.
