Lydia (Keaton) Griffin Hall

Lydia (Keaton) Griffin Hall was born c. 1834 in Tattnall County, Georgia. She was the daughter of Kader Keaton and Mary Strickland. After Kader's death and Mary's remarriage in 1835, Lydia took the surname of her stepfather, Dempsey Griffin.

She is sometimes given a middle name of "Maggie"; this needs citation.

In 1850, Lydia was living with her mother, stepfather, and four younger half-siblings in Tattnall County, Georgia.

Family life

On 16 July 1857, Lydia married Thomas Hall in Richmond County, Georgia. They had the following children:

1. Anderson A. Hall, b. c. 1858 in Georgia -- cited on Geni
2. Martha E. Hall, b. c. 1859 in Alabama -- cited on Geni
3. John Henry Hall -- needs citation
4. Anthony "Tony" Lee Hall -- needs citation

In July 1860, "Liddy Hall" was living with Thomas, Anderson, and Martha in Kingston, Autauga County, Alabama, in the Milton postal service area.
