About Lydia Sanderson
At some point during Robert Sanderson's tenure as an apprentice silversmith. (probably 1632 or 1633) he married a woman named LYDIA and started a family in London. They emigrated to Hampton, New Hampshire before Robert was made freeman there on 7 Sep 1639.
At some time after the birth of his daughter Mary, which was probably in October of 1639, Robert’s wife Lydia died. Her death is said to have occurred in Hampton, but it was not recorded.
He married again to widow Mary Cross in Hampton in 1642.
