Måns Jonsson

Many Internet sources say that Salomon Tingstedt had a brother, and some of them say his name was Måns Jonsson (although if he existed he would have been named Bengtsson). He is said to have died before 1754 because he is not named in the estate settlement of his uncle Alexander Trybom.

Barbro Behrendtz says there is no evidence of a brother of Salomon Tingstedt (2014). The origin of the error seems to be a confusion between Salomon Jonsson in Redinge in Grebo with Salomon Tingstedt in Gärdserum.
