"His father, Mór Teltsch (Pápa, 1842-1924) worked as a shoemaker in Baja and was married Anna Wollner on February 15, 1870 (Bonyhad, 1846-1940).

His brothers were Ármin (born 1870), Berta, Ilona, Géza, Karolin, Felix and András (born 1891). His parents moved to Subotica at the young age of Ede. His childhood and youth experiences were linked to this city."
