MADELINE LOMBARDI WERNER, 1916-2004 - Madeline was born October 8, 1916 in Brooklyn, N Y to Harry and Matilda Lombardi along with 4 brothers and a sister. Her eldest brother was the legendary football coach of the Green Bay Packers, Vince Lombardi. She lived a life of love and will be remembered for her forgiving spirit and fun loving nature. She is survived by her husband of 60 years, 2 daughters, 1 son, a brother, 7 grandchildren & 1 great-granddaughter. In addition, she had an "adopted" daughter, Joy, who stayed faithfully by her side and comforted her greatly. A reception will be held at home Tuesday 6:30 until 8 P.M. for family and friends. Graveside service at Memorial Oaks Cemetery, I-10 & Eldridge Wednesday, May 12 at 10:30 A.M. We are comforted by the knowledge that we will someday be with her in Heaven.
