Magdalena "Salomie" Brink (1946 - 2005)

Brief overview:

Salomie (59), an auditor, and her husband, Helgard du Preez Brink (56), a couple living at the Akasia smallholdings outside Pretoria, were murdered in their home on 10th July 2005. They were both bludgeoned with a hammer.

Salomie was found dead in her bed still in her night clothes. Helgard was found in the lounge.

Inspector Lukas Sithole said a friend of the couple became suspicious when when Helgard's son couldn't reach his father and step-mother.
