Magnus Poulsen Obituary Journal Times Racine Wisconsin Tuesday January 2, 1940 pg. 4
Magnus Poulsen, 67, of 407 Main street, died suddenly Sunday. Mr. Poulsen was born in Ringkobing, Denmark, and had lived in Racine 47 years. He was employed as a millwright by the Belle City Malleable Iron company, and was a member of Danish Brotherhood lodge No. 4 and he Bahais. Surviving are his wife, Mathilda; two daughters, Elizabeth, at home, and Mrs. Gladys Hader of Chicago; four sons, Ole, Leo and Roy of Racine and Sergt. Calvin Poulsen, who is in the U. S. navy and is stationed at Annistan, besides a brother, Nick Poulsen, of Racine, a brother and a sister in Denmark, and six grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 m. in Christiansen's chapel, with Mr. Windust of Chicago as speaker in behalf of the Bahais. Burial will be in Graceland cemetery. Friends may call this evening at Christiansen's.
