About Maj. Henry Ward

A Patriot of the American Revolution for VIRGINIA with the rank of STAFF OFFICER. DAR Ancestor # A120520
Henry's tombstone reads Apr 5, 1751, however, his twin sisters were reportedly born Feb 9, 1751. Either Henry Ward's or Anne Dillard's tombstone is incorrect. Under the old colonial calendar, there was no Feb 1751. A number of references show Henry as born 1752. Needs more evidence.

Henry and Martha had eight children.

Still looking for tombstones of his eldest child Matilda Calloway Ward who married Thomas Tunstall Adams, and his youngest child Jeremiah Edwin Ward who married Cynthia Anne Earle and relocated to Proctor, Crittenden, Arkansas.* Reference: Find A Grave Memorial - SmartCopy: Dec 15 2022, 7:28:18 UTC
