Also "Maj. Luther Trowbridge fought as a volunteer in the battle of Lexinton; commissioned in 1777 as ensign; was in the battles of Bunker Hill and Saratoga"

Luther Trowbridge:
Born in Framingham, Mass. in 1756. Fought as volunteer in Battle of Lexington at age of 16. Commissioned Ensign in 1777. Fought in Battles of Bunker Hill, Saratoga, etc. Retired at close of war with rank of Major. Married to Elizabeth Tillman. Died Albany, 1802.
