Major Lewis Bozarth (not a rank, but his first name) was the son of Edith Elizabeth (Johnson) and Richard Guy Bozarth. He had two sisters and six brothers who were: Richard Eugene, Gerald Guy, Jesse Gale, Lyle Delbert "Mike", Leona Grace, Robert Lee, Mildred Elizabeth and Ernest D. Bozarth.
Major never married. He served as a PFC in the U.S. Army during World War II and he died shortly after returning home.
