About Manda Ravlić (Begović)
Manda Ravlić arrived at Fremantle, Western Australia per the vessel, "SS Orvieto" on 10 December 1924; from Naples via Ports. En route to Sydney; bound for Cairns. On board with Nikola Jure Ravlić (Ravlich) (son), Mara Ravlić (Ravlich) (sister-in-law), Nikola Lunjević (Lunjevich) and Andjelo Grubelić (Grubelich).
According to one source, Manda and family were supposed to disembark at Sydney, and then travel to Cairns where Ante Ravlich (husband) lived; They were met at Port Adelaide by Mr Okmazich, a friend of Ante. He informed Manda that her husband was waiting for her in Broken Hill, where he had found employment working in the mines.
