Born Virginia Graziosi, she married Filippo Pacelli (1837 - 1916), Former Dean of the Sacra Rota Romana, and mothered four children : Giuseppa, Francesco, Eugenio and Elisabetta.
Whilst the girls got married into respective noble Roman families, Francesco became a lay Canon Lawyer, credited for his role in negotiating the Lateran Treaty in 1929, bringing an end to the Roman Question, whilst Eugenio, became Pope Pius XII in 1939, after escalating all the steps of the Catholic Hierarchy : Priesthood, Monsignor, Protonotary Apostolic, Domestic Prelate, Privy Chamberlain, Archbishop, Apostolic Nuncio, Cardinal, Archpriest of Saint Peter's Patriarchal Vatican Basilica, Secretary of the Secretariat of State and Camerlengo of the Apostolic Chamber of the Catholic Church.
He was declared a Venerable on September 2, 2000, by Pope John Paul II.
