OBITUARY NOTICE

The rabbi and chacham, Rabbi Mordechai Horenstein, an elder of the Boyaner chassidim in Israel, passed away at a ripe old age and was brought to his final resting place in the Husiatyn chassidim section of the cemetery in Tiberias.

The rebbes of the Ruzhin School of chassidut - the rebbe of Sadagura, the rebbe of Vasloi-Geltz [sic?] - and Rabbi Shlomo´niu of Sadagura, the brother-in-law of the deceased, took part in the funeral. The deceased was a well-known public activist, beloved by all. He was a member of the Horenstein family, of distinguished lineage, who founded the Batei Horenstein in Jerusalem.
