Mercy Worden (PETER II, PETER I, ROBERT, WILLIAM) was born about 1640/1641. She died 22 Sep 1688, Age 48 in Yarmouth, MA and was buried in Worden/Winslow Burying Ground. [1]

Marriage

MERCY married KENELM II WINSLOW, son of KENELM WINSLOW, on 23 Sep 1667 in Yarmouth, MA. Kenelm II was born about 1646/1647. He died on 11 Nov 1715 in Yarmouth, MA and was buried in Worden/Winslow Burying Gr. Kenelm m 2nd DEMARIS who survived him. Children53 i. Damaris, ii. Elizabeth, iii. Eleanor, iv. Kenelm and Mary lived in that part of Yarmouth which was incorporated into the town of Harwich, Ma in 1694. He was a petitioner for the incorporation of this town which is now the town of Brewster.54 In 1675 Kenelm II paid a war tax of 4-13s-6d.55 On 14 Oct.1714 he was among those chosen to "seat persons or place them in the meetinghouse where they shall set". 56 [citation needed]

Kenelm II owned land in Harwich & Rochester MA. He shared ownership with some of his neighbors in a fulling mill in Stony Brook in Harwich. 57 [citation needed]

Kenelm's will is printed in its entirety in The Winslow Memorial His will is dated 10 Jan. 1712 and was probated 28 Dec.1715. His heirs were his wife Damaris, sons Kenelm III, John, Josiah,Samuel,Nathaniel,Edward, daughters Damaris, Elizabeth, and Eleanor Winslow, and Mercy White. Kenelm III was executor and the document was witnessed by Samuel Osborn, John Wing and Jebediah Osbond.58 [citation needed]

2. ii.JOSIAH WINSLOW was christened on 3 Jul 1668 in Scituate, MA. 4. 28 M iv. SAMUEL WINSLOW. Samuel married (1) BETHIA HOLBROOK on 26 Sep 1700 in Scituate, MA.71 Samuel also married (2) MERCY KING on 11 Nov 1703 in Scituate, MA.72 Mercy died on 16 Feb 1733 in Rochester,MA.73 Samuel also married (3) RUTH BRIGGS on 8 Oct 1739 in Rochester, MA.74
5. 29 F v. MERCY WINSLOW was born about 1676.
