Margaret Becher was the daughter of Henry Becher and his wife Elizabeth Heron. She was born about 1551, probably in London.
On the 23rd July 1571 at Strathfieldsaye, Hampshire, Margaret Becher married Thomas D'abridgecourt. The following year, her brother Fane Becher married Susan D'abridgecourt [sister of Thomas] at the same church.
Margaret Becher and Thomas D'abridgecourt had at least five children; Henry, Thomas, Eustace, Elizabeth and Susan.
Sir Thomas D'abridgecourt died in 1614 and Margaret died in 1621.
Source of Death, Register for SS.Will of Margaret Dabrgecourt or Dabridgecourt, widow of Strathfield Saye, Hampshire. Will dated 16 July 1617 & proved 29 November 1622. PROB 11/140 Mentions brother Mr William Becher & his wife as well as their daughter Margaret Becher my God-daughter. Sister Becher, son Henry D'abridgecourt & his daughter Elizabeth. Son Thomas D'abridgecourt, his wife & their daughter Elizabeth Daughter Dabridgecourt Son-in-law Charles Evans & daughter Susanna Evans.
