Margaret Master was born on 22 February 1669/70.[1] She was the daughter of James Master and Joyce Turnor.[1]

She married Admiral Rt. Hon. George Byng, 1st Viscount Torrington, son of John Byng and Philadelphia Johnson, on 5 March 1690/91 at St. Paul's Church, Covent Gardens, London, England.

She died on 1 April 1756 at age 86.[1]

From 5 March 1690/91, her married name became Byng.[1]
