Margaret Ann Carley

She came in a wagon train to Wisconsin from New York in 1862 with her parents, her half sister (Evaline Rose Eagle) and sister's family, and her husband and children. Following the death of her husband (a cooper who built and repaired barrels), she lived with her daughter, Eva, in Davenport, Iowa.

Gravesite Details
headstone made of concrete; very readable on Hiram's side; wife, Margaret's side is blank, but her body was sent to Berlin, a short distance from Shead Island Cemetery, for burial.
